Prof. Dr. Alexander Stronski is expert in the field of disordered materials and based on them functional micro(nano)structures. Doctor of Sciences in Physics of Semiconductors and Dielectrics, Professor: Applied Physics and Nanomaterials. He is leading researcher of V.Lashkaryov Institute of Semiconductor Physics NAS Ukraine, author of about 500 scientific publications, 7 patents, 3 tutorials, 4 monographs. Supervisor of 3 PhD, 1 candidate of sciences, and 1 dr. habilitat. Member of Ukrainian physical society, Scientific Secretary of the Scientific Council on the problem “Physics of Semiconductors and Dielectrics” at the VFA of the NAS of Ukraine, full member of the Academy of Sciences of the Higher School of Ukraine. Member of the editorial board of the scientific journal “Optoelectronics and Semiconductor Technology”. The area of scientific interests includes materials science, optoelectronics, optical elements, and optical properties and photostimulated processes in disordered materials and based on them composite nanostructures.
