Kryuchyn Andriy Andriyovych (date of birth August 09, 1948, place of birth Ukraine). Graduated from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 1971, specialty radiophysics (quantum electronics). Doctor of Technical Sciences, specialty “Elements and Devices of Computing and Control Systems”, certificate number DT N003142 dated 06/22/1990, place of defense – Institute of Modeling Problems in Power Engineering of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, date 01/25/1990. Professor in the specialty “Elements and Devices of Computing and Control Systems” diploma 12PR No. 004432, date October 19, 2006.
Since August 1971 I have been working at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. In 2009 I was elected a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. From 1992 to the present, Deputy Director of the Institute for Information Recording of the NAS of Ukraine (Ukraine, 03113 Kyiv, Mykola Shpak St.). Head of the Optical Media Department of the Institute for Information Recording of the NAS of Ukraine since 1987. Areas of scientific research – direct laser recording, nanotechnology, technology for creating diffractive elements and metasurfaces, long-term data storage, research of thin films of chalcogenide semiconductors. The results of scientific research are presented in 550 scientific publications, including 16 monographs and over 100 patents.
